Welcome to J.Deans Processing

As of 2021, J Dean's has taken over the deer processing at our facility, (formally known as Thomas Deer Processing). We have remodeled and restructured the deer processing to our quality standards, such vacuum packaging your cuts, roasts,and burger. Please look below for changes in procedures, prices, questions.

Whole deer processing is now CLOSED until Sept. 2023, but we ARE still taking in boneless meat!

MEAT DROP OFF 8am-7pm 7days a week. Boneless is our only requirement! Fresh, frozen, cut or ground!

Deer processing

Deer Cut $119.00

Custom cut options and all vacuum packaged steaks,roasts,and burger. All cut options determined at the time you drop the deer off . Bring your deer up front for write up and drop off.

Cape + 40

Your Cape will be done while you wait usually takes under one hour .we will no longer store your cape here so you need to have arrangements to take with you ( capes will be not be stored here for more than 24 hrs after dropping your deer off.

Boneless Venison Drop off

You can drop off any frozen or thawed bonless venison or wild game meat for sausage processing, prices start at 36.00

AFter Hours Deer

Shot a deer after our business hours?

  Just field dress as normal and bring it in the morning . keep cool by laying the deer on back or keeping the rear legs open or hang .(ice can help some but is not necessary.)

  • Just bring it on in... Frozen,thawed and raw is all good, Whole cuts and or packaged burger works as well.
  •   NO BONES every thing you bring to us must be off the bone so check your roasts before you bring them in most have a bone.

  • All orders and deer are usually done in 4-12 business days.
  • (Hams being the exception could take up to 10 days after the deer is cut .)

  • Snack stix and summer sausages requires 9lbs 
  • Smoked and Kielbasa requires  14lbs
  • Bulk sausages require 7lbs 
  • Jerky requires 5lbs of whole muscle rounds.
  • There is no limits on anything over these minimum weights you can bring as much meat as you would like..The more meat the better.Just bring it on in and we can make you multiple flavors and types.

when dropping off a deer come into our store front to do the write up and get your drop off tag and we will direct you to the proper location.

  • Bring it up front to our store so we can write your order and give you the proper tags before we have you drop at a desired location at our facility .
  • must be field dressed
  • hide on 
  • NO HEADS LEFT WITH US  you will take your head with you if you are keeping it.we will cut and bag it at the drop off
  • Cape for mount will be 40$ charge and need to be picked up within 36 hours of drop off.

  • Top and bottom rounds from the hind quarter.
  •  Backstraps will also work.
  • We have a 5lb Minimum 
  • You will receive approximately half the weight you bring us back on your jerky orders.
  • example you bring us 10lbs you get back 5lbs
